RPM Events and Decor Company was established in 2003 by Ms Rakgadi Motloba who is a motivated self-starter that identified a gap in the market for black women in the decor and equipment hire industry. Fuelled with passion, equipped with marketing expertise and client management skills which form a critical part of hosting successful and seamless events. Ms Rakgadi Motloba was able to build a formidable company.

The company has a warehouse facility which supplies hotels, lodges, events companies and the public with equipment hire services. The company currently provides services to reputable 5 star hotels on a regular basis. RPM intends to grow this competitive edge predominantly male dominated by other ethnic groups.In the past three years, RPM Events and Decor Company has partnered with the Ditsong National Museum of Cultural History where the key focus of the partnership is to enhance the Museums facilities in order for them to be used for different kinds of activities. Through this partnership, the museum has been able to generate more revenue which will be used to maintain and upgrade the facilities as a Non-Profit Organization, for creating jobs for unemployed youth providing internship programs for motivated individuals.

Presently Ditsong National Museum of Cultural History has a fully-fledged Restaurant with bar facilities, graded as a 3 Star Museum by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa which allows The Museum to host world class conferences and workshops.

RPM Events & Decor Company believes that through partnerships of this calibre, the South African Government can now create the much needed job opportunities for South Africans.
