About Us

The company has a warehouse facility which supplies hotels, lodges, events companies and the public with equipment hire services. The company currently provides services to reputable 5 star hotels on a regular basis. RPM intends to grow their competitive edge in this predominantly male dominated arena.  In the past three years, RPM Events & Décor Company has partnered with the Ditsong National Museum of Cultural History, where the key focus is to enhance the Museum’s facilities in order for them to be used for various activities.  Through this partnership, the Museum has been able to generate more revenue that will be used to maintain and upgrade the facilities.

Presently the Ditsong National Museum of Cultural History has a fully-fledged Restaurant with bar facilities.  The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa has given it a 3 star grading thus allowing for the Museum to host world class conferences and workshops.

RPM Events & Decor Company believes that through partnerships of this calibre, the South African Government can now create the much needed job opportunities for South Africans.

Executive Director and Founder

Mrs. Motloba has extensive experience in Hospitality Industry, Communication & Marketing and Sales. With over 30 Years experience of both government and private sector events management experience ranging from hospitality industry, government project and private sector travel related experience.

Currently operating the Ditsong National Museum of Cultural History and supplying hotels, lodges, Government Departments with events equipment hire services.

Extensive networks of black entrepreneurs, black business BEE companies in all sectors.

Thoriso Phaswana,Tourism Management -
Ms. Thoriso Phaswana
National Events Manager

Manager, Ms. Thoriso Phaswana has a Tourism Management Diploma acquired at Tshwane University of Technology. Ms Thoriso Phaswana is cut out for events management services. She is responsible for managing all the company’s national events, from travel management, accommodation management, fundraising drive, implementation and rsvp management.

Her excellent communication skills is what allows her to excel all times, attention to details and execution. Time management is critical to her and hence all her events are successful. She understands both government and private sector events management requirements in detail. Her level of education is also a bonus point.

She has just over 7 years experience in the events industry.

Mr. Felix Mumbire comes from the hospitality industry and having 6 years experience within the marketing department of hotels, brings another light as an events coordinator.

He handles our events within the Museum, as he is also the one who oversees the events set-up team and ensuring all logistics are communicated with the client and in-house before the event day.

His achievements include certification and him participating in food and presentation in sinclair’s speciality of selective foods

Mr Mogopodi has been working in the hospitality industry for 14 years and out of those years he devoted 6 years of his food creations to RPM Events & Décor Company.

His achievements includes: certificates and him participating in Unilever chef of the year 2018, of which he won 2nd place.

Ms Lebogang More is the junior chef and has been working for the company for the past seventeen years. Her attention to food preparation and presentation detail is what makes her the best in our establishment.

Ms Laka works as a floor waitress and has been with the company for the past 4 years.

She is vibrant, ever smiling waitress that provides excellent service to clients. She runs the daily operations of the restaurant to the best of her ability.

Ms Laka is currently studying towards a teaching diploma through the University of South Africa.
